Team
We rely on a solid team approach and assemble a dedicated team based on the specific needs of each case. Each member of this team, including the trainee, is assigned a specific task, based on their expertise and experience. Team approach allows us to handle even the most complex legal matters in an efficient manner. This approach ensures also a direct involvement of each team member which enables trainees to learn on the job and to improve their skills. As part of the team, our trainees will be invited to join our team events, seminars and trainings.
Clients
We advise and represent international and domestic companies, private and publicly-held, in all aspects of their business dealings. Our team has broad experience in assisting clients active in various sectors.
Cases
contrast assists its clients with independent and specialized competition, corporate and commercial law advice, and provides full conflict management support. We have the experience necessary to handle even the most complex cases.
Academic activities
Our team regularly publishes in leading law journals and with renowned legal publishers. contrast also organizes law seminars which take place at least four times a year. We are also present at several universities as lecturer and as sponsor. Besides client work, interns will be involved in those projects.
Training
As part of the team, our trainees will be invited to join our team trainings and seminars, including soft skill workshops. Furthermore, they will be involved in the everyday practice of our firm. They will receive regular feedback on their input so that they develop their skills to a maximum extent.
Coaching
We value a personal approach. Each trainee is assigned to one of contrast's lawyers who is the trainee’s buddy and first point of contact. All trainees are given the opportunity to work together closely with contrast's other associates and partners in the practice area of their choice. Furthermore, a personal program is elaborated for each trainee.
Opportunities
The internship is designed to give a trainee an introduction to the type of work performed in our law firm. Trainees will gain first-hand knowledge of how contrast as a law firm functions. It gives trainees also the opportunity to apply what they have learned in university and to build a strong foundation for achieving their career goals. Long after an internship with contrast, we are still in contact with our alumni interns, offering support along their educational and professional journeys. Trainees return from their internship with invaluable work experience and an extensive professional network.
